Before I had any games for the PS3, I've been living off PSN's demos. 
I don't know how Live is, but PSN's list has gotten pretty robust now.

Speaking of demos.... Heavy Rain for PS3.... anyone played it?

I liked the demo for Dante's inferno but the game left me wanting, if you want a decent brawler type and don't want to wait for god of war 3 ( I assume its good I've never played any of the series) I recomend Bayonetta its a lot of fun.
Heavy rain is pretty cool, I'm not very far into it but I like it. It doesn't have a conventional game feel to it at all and pretty much everything is done through quick time events, which normally I hate, but when its the way everything is done its easier to expect and deal with.

Yeah, we rented Bayonetta... it was pretty good too.
Lately I've been focusing on the Wii though... since it got "updated"..

I haven't since there were more interesting things for me to look at.
Speaking of extensive lists, PSN's anime library exploded, mostly filled with dubs though.

God of War plays almost exactly like Dante's Inferno, so you kinda know what to expect, except it's probably more polished. It does have quicktime events though, but you'll know when they're coming.
The demo is out, so try it out.

Luckily for me, I managed to get FFXIII for about $30. My giftcard just arrived today and Gamestop is holding a $10 off promo with free 2-day shipping.
The only problem is now whether or not I should start the game right away or finish FFXII, it's been too long since I played that game and I suddenly got interested in it all over again.

specific classes that they could switch between seemed to work well for me... but, towards the end, it doesn't matter too much... because you fill out the license board and everyone can do anything.. lol. I know I liked certain characters having certain weapons... Vaan always had a sword.. Balthier always had a lance or spear... Penelo usually had a mace... Ashe generally had a sword/shield... Basch a two handed sword... Fran some type of projectile or a spear/lance.
